My fine silver products are created using Precious Metal Clay (PMC). This product suspends tiny particles of fine silver with a binder in clay form.
I either form the clay, file and polish it to perfection (an example would be the seashell) ... or I use thin layers of watered down clay to make a shell over one side of an actual item (an example would be a leaf.)
The item is shaped, then fired at 1600+ degree temperatures to burn out everything except the .999% pure fine silver.
At this stage, the fine silver is very soft. I will tumble it with stainless steel shot for a day to harden it, and make it shine.
